This survey is part of our industry engagement phase of the project. The aim of the survey is to gather multi-disciplinary viewpoints from a range of stakeholders in the construction industry around the topic of demolition in an Irish context.

The focus of our research is on the decision making prior to demolition on site. We seek to uncover the underlying motivations and current challenges behind demolition practices in Ireland.

Demolition Take Down is a recipient of the Creative Climate Action fund, an initiative from the Creative Ireland Programme. It is funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications. The fund supports creative, cultural and artistic projects that build awareness around climate change and empower citizens to make meaningful behavioural transformations.
