Dublin Inquirer meets Islander

We were delighted to host Michael from the Dublin Inquirer last week in our studio and at our local exhibition and film screening.

Our research explored the community-led approaches to adapting our existing housing estates to allow people to age in place with dignity & maintaining their neighbourhood connections.

We approached the theme of Reimagining Elderhood from an inter-generational perspective, with the female transition year students coming together with the members of the Men's Shed in Balbriggan to negotiate their shared values for housing.
