Your Developed Design

Our role as architect is to be the design team leader, coordinating the works with all consultants appointed by the client.

Our work during this stage will flesh out the design concepts, explore the materials & the spatial characteristics to the proposal. The internal layout & external forms of the proposal will be finalised.

This stage results in the submission of a planning application (if required) to the local authority for approval.

Up until now, the discussion has been about the big idea & spatial qualities. We can make minor adjustments to the initial design proposal and begin to add more details.

We now move to a period of refinement & editing to explore the material textures, colours & palette.

We will advise you on the appointment of other consultants that may be required & coordinate with them on your behalf.

We will advise on whether a pre-planning consultation with the local authority is required & lead the application process for you.

A full set of planning drawings will be completed at the end of this stage that can be used for applying for planning permission if required.

We take care of the planning process for you. We complete the scaled drawings, design statement, application form, public notices & printing/ online submission on your behalf.

We are here to make the application process as simple as possible for you.
